When AOV mode is enabled, EZVIZ Lab testing conducted under standard conditions indicates that the camera can detect motion at distances of up to 25 m in daylight and up to 12 m at night. Under the same test conditions, other battery-powered models using PIR-based detection typically provide a detection distance of up to 9 m. Actual detection performance may vary due to environmental conditions and installation factors.
Based on EZVIZ Lab testing conducted under standard conditions, the CB8 Lite provides a battery life of 95 days in standard PIR-triggered mode, assuming 5 minutes of camera activity per day. Under the same test conditions, the CB8 Lite provides a battery life of 15 days when AOV mode is enabled with the automatic interval setting. Actual battery performance may vary due to environmental conditions and usage patterns, including event frequency, recording duration, and live viewing.
Data from EZVIZ Lab's test results, under the following standard condition: AM=1.5 , 25°C, 1000W/m² and SMQ. The results are obtained based with the camera operating in AOV mode and the AOV interval set to AUTO. Actual charging efficiency may vary depending on sunlight intensity and other environmental conditions. Actual camera operating hours may also differ based on usage patterns, activity frequency, and environmental factors.
